Video Highlights

Thoroughgood will be the undoubted leader of Ocean Lakes in 2010. Numerous BCS programs have already made offers. Thoroughgood had the benefit of throwing to Tennessee WR commit Justin Hunter and will still have a stable of able athletes around him in 2010. The Ocean Lakes signal caller will likely land at a BCS school and should be very successful after a redshirt year. Thoroughgood was voted second team All-Beach District at Quarterback for the 2009 season, but don’t read too much into that. Ocean Lakes was slapped with six forfeits for using an ineligible player. Those losses meant no playoffs for Ocean Lakes and regional sentiment worked against the team. 2010 will be a different year. Without Phillip Sims to compete against, Thoroughgood should be considered the top local Quarterback for the 2011 class.
